Temple visit by balaji and friends
INTRODUCTION
We group of four started to visit different temples in tamilnadu from February 2007, We had visited so far around 350 old and ancient temples of which nearly 90 percent are ancient. Our team had four regular members and a fifth one will find his way if any one of the other four members fails to make the trip.
Our team consist of balaji, venkatraman, jyothikannan, mahadevan and the fifth member is vedapandiyan swamigal alias Murugan adigalar. We plan our trips during holidays and most of them happened on Sunday.
We were able to visit more temples with due help we get from local people and also from the temple priests who inform us about the ancient temples located near their vicinity. Most of the them do help us by explaining in detail the history, sthala puranam of the temples.
when I interacted with so many people and told about our visits, they advised me to open a blog and asked me to put details about temples the routes through which it is easily accessed and also the photos of the temples which we had visited. We do have a wide range of photo collection and we intened to upload them ASAP.
Before we continue we thank so many people who helped us by giving details and information about different temples thus making it easier for us to plan our travel easier and more efficient.
First I hope to cover the Narashimhasamy and the Anjaneyar temples which we covered so far..
